If you watched my instagram stories last night you know I got my hair styled at a local Hair Cuttery for the first time. To be totally honest I hadn’t heard of Hair Cuttery before and was surprised to learn that they have over 800 stores! They are a family operated chain of hair salons in New England, the East Coast and the Midwest.
I wanted to test out a hairstyle that I could wear for a holiday event. I wanted it to be pretty, but still casual enough for a low key party. I saw Alex at the West Chester Commons location in Midlothian, Virginia. I seriously loved her, and she made me feel so comfortable while we came up with the best hairstyle ideas for my hair and what I was looking for. It lasted about 45 minutes, which was the perfect amount of time to feel relaxed and pampered before getting back to busy mom life. She prepped my hair with this stuff called Puff Me and finished with Cibu Finista Spray.
I’m actually really glad I found Alex & Hair Cuttery because it was so easy and affordable to get my hair styled for the holidays, or any event coming up. My total cost was $42, and that was after the charge for long hair! So I would totally go there again for a treatment or a quick style before an event.
I didn’t really have anywhere to go after my appointment, but after how gorgeous it looked I had to throw on a comfy sweater and some heels and for some Christmas shopping and dinner with the family. Couldn’t waste a good hair day! 🙂 Outfit details below!
Ruffle Sweater (40% off) // Raw Hem Skinny Jeans (currently 33% off) // Zac Zac Posen Crossbody (also in black and only $100) // Stud Earrings // Steve Madden Black Pumps
So much of this outfit is on sale right now, starting with these amazing jeans that are never on sale! Normally they are $225, but are in stock in all sizes and only $149. I was gifted this amazing crossbody bag from Zac Posen that I’m obsessed with for the holidays! It’s the perfect size, it stays closed and the strap is the cutest with little flowery details.
